A half-back is made up of shoulder butt. It is therefore a hide from which the sides have been removed to leave only the dorsal area: dense, thick, and uniform.
This type of leather is highly sought after in leather goods, saddlery, and harness, as it offers great lengths—up to 260 cm— resistance to stretching, and a uniform appearance.

The half-backs Niagara and Boyoma are both equestrian leather , unpressed and uncorrected, thoroughly nourished in a tallow bath.
They are distinguished mainly by their type of tanning, their suppleness, and their preferred uses.

TheNiagara half-back Niagara vegetable-tanned leather and tradition

The Niagara is a100% vegetable-tanned full grain leather with a smooth grain and flesh .

Vegetable tanning gives it a firm structure, excellent durability, and a natural character natural evolves over time.

It is an full grain leather , uncorrectedfull grain leather with an aniline finish that preserves its natural appearance natural ensuring better durability.
