Vanessa Reveillon
Thebrand Vanessa Réveillon brand is now 5 years old. The Atelier-Boutique is located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. It's in her workshop that Vanessa Réveillon creates leather goods bags and accessories, as well as belts, equestrian and canine pieces in the purest tradition ofcraftmanship. Most of her creations can be customized (choice of leather, thread color, buckles, etc.). With pure lines, her creations combine aesthetics and practicality, and have the particularity of bearing the first names of her ancestors.
"What a pleasure it is to work with Niagara leather... I love this leather, which combines robustness and suppleness. For the "Marguerite" besace, I work with shoulder. I emphasize neck wrinkles in my creations. The leather patinas very well over time and gains in suppleness. As all my creations (made with saddlery leather) are entirely hand-made (cuts and seams), it's very important that the tools react well. The half-moon knife and the abat-carré glide along the entire length of the piece being worked, and it's a very pleasant sensation. When I present the different shoulder color by unfolding the hide in front of my customers, their reaction is always the same: they caress the hide and one phrase comes up regularly: 'that's leather'."
