Rêves de bride workshop

Newsleather Radermecker - L'atelier Rêves de brides

Locatedin Nantes, France, Atelier Rêves de Brides was founded by Eléna Tournabien. Trained as a saddler and harness-maker, she creates equestrian saddlery (bridles, halters, hunting collars, etc.), pet saddlery (collars, leads, harnesses, etc.) and small leather goods (cases, belts, escarcelles, bags, jewelry, etc.). All her creations are handcrafted, with each model shaped by hand, from the cutting of the pieces to the saddle-stitch hand-sewing, including the dye and, of course, the embossing of the motifs. Eléna Tournabien adapts to every request, and each piece is unique.

"It was Savica's combination of strength and suppleness that convinced me for my bridle creations, for which I was looking for a leather that was robust yet comfortable for the horse. What's more, it's very pleasant to work with, whether for cutting, embossing, dye or sewing. It really offers a beautiful finish."

Awardt

Newsleather Radermecker - Awardt

Locatedin Mechelen, Belgium, Awardt is a mother-daughter duo: Mrs. Wies Dehert and Els Van den Berghen. Experimentation, new materials and striking shapes are the hallmarks of Awardt, which launches a summer and winter collection every year. The combination of special types of leather, the preference for full grain leather, the possibility of personalizing each bag in terms of detail and color, make each Awardt bag a unique, 100% Belgian handcrafted creation.

"For our latest 2019 collection, we worked with your Savica leather. We love working with your saddlery leather for its sturdiness and solidity! Leather can be perfectly transformed into beautiful, robust and timeless bags! Leather embellishes with time! Because we produce in Belgium ourselves, we also get added value if we can buy our leather from a Belgian tannery!"

Gilles Bolland

Newsleather Radermecker - Gilles Bolland

Professional photographer, Mr Gilles Bolland is also a first-year leather goods student at the Institut de parure et bijouterie Jeanne Toussaint on the Arts et Métiers campus in Brussels. His teachers teach him to make leather goods to the same exacting standards as those found in luxury leather goods . Using our Savica leather, Mr. Gilles Bolland created an item for a photographer and mountaineer friend. It's a wallet whose inside pocket pays homage to the first ascent of the Matterhorn. In addition to bank card slots, the outside of the wallet is also designed to hold the memory cards of a photo camera.

"RADERMECKER is my first experience with a tanner and I have to say it's been great. During my visit, the craftsman was a real guide, showing me the whole range of products. Thanks to his help, I was able to discover the one that corresponded exactly to my expectations: the Savica. I was delighted with the Savica's rendering; its touch, reflections and squeaks enchanted me."
