The leather used for our horse pads benefits from our food in fat baths (a mixture of paraffin and beef fat). This fatty food makes the leather horse pad easy to cut. Thanks to this fatty food, the leather horse pad retains its natural thickness under heavy pressure and absorbs shocks. The grease-filled leather horse pad also prevents water penetration. This saddlery leather leather horse pad provides complete protection for horses' feet, especially the sole (the palmar surface for the forelimb, or plantar surface for the hind limb). Our horse pad is also compatible with all types of silicone. To meet all farriers' needs, our horse pads in saddlery leather are available in 2 sizes: 18x18cm and 16x16cm, and in 4 thicknesses: 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm and 4.5mm (with a +/- 0.2mm variability).
