Tanning requires more than 10 steps, the confectionof finished articles can take up to 20 steps in a craft workshop. Each stage has its own machines. Maintaining a fleet of more than 100 machines demands skills but also passion. Didier is undoubtedly the man of many stituations. Self-taught, it repairs, maintains, improves the machines of RADERMECKER® for more than 25 years.
Any good orchestra requires a good conductor. Jean Christophe, David's brother, joined RADERMECKER® at the age of 18 years. After training for more than 20 years on the workshop's techniques, he now organizes the production. Attention, listening, experience are some of the essantial qualities in this position. Leather, heterogenous material, requires attention every moment. Jean Christophe is an enthusiast who, like the rest of the team, continues to learn every day.
From the river to the dry, few craftsman master the whole value chain of leather. Dominique's son, Alexandre was born in this universe. Since 2001, his responsabilities range from river work, before tanning, to shaping and drying downstream of fullers. Only a good association between his work and the one of the fullers manager can assure quality leather. At RADERMECKER®, the father-son agreement is primary !
Higinio is a part of its craftmen who are able to work leather in river and use it in confection. Few craftmen have such a vision of the entire leather chain. Always ready to help his colleagues, Higinio is a versatile craftsman. Attentive to the others, attentive to do well, beyond his ewperience, Higinio knows always to question itself.

Pascal is one of those men who perpetuate methods now forgotten like master a wedge sewing machine, make a bellows, a seam with copper wire... Training for these techniques requires many years.
